Laptops – Teachers and Staff Issued

  • Come into the Technology Empowerment Center, located in Graham’s Galleon

-OR-

Laptops and Mobile devices – Student Issued or Cart Based

  • Have student bring laptop to Technology Empowerment Center, located in Graham’s Galleon

Desktops (All)

Printers

  • Printer not printing correctly (Smudges, and spots)
  • Toner (as of 9/1/16)
    • Bring empty toner or drum to the TEC for new cartridge
  • Driver Installation
    • Place Service Ticket, must include room number, County # of Printer, and County # of computer it is to be installed on.

-OR-

  • Come into the Technology Empowerment Center, located in Graham’s Galleon
  • Some printers are available for self-installation. See Video: https://mix.office.com/watch/ywb0gzibi302

Projectors

  • Service Ticket Required, including lamps
  • Cables for self-installation may be picked up at Technology Empowerment Center

Audio Enhancement

  • Mics can be brought into the Technology Empowerment Center
  • Cables for self-installation may be picked up at Technology Empowerment Center
  • All other requests need Service Ticket

Software Installation

  • Check Software Center for Netsupport (Student and Teacher), Office 2013/2016, One Note Class, Learning Tools for One Note, Mathematics Add-on, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Clicker software (eInstruction WorkSpace)
  • All other requests please fill out a service request.
    • Software must be approved by district before installed
    • Temporary Admin rights may be granted for certain cases

To place a technology service request:

  • Place the request from the Tech Support Portal link on the bottom of the VCS Website.
  • You can call 20000 and speak with the Technical Help Desk, they will assist with placing the work order.
  • You can stop in at the Technology Empowerment Center
